At Beginnings Learning Center we strive to give your child the best preschool experience possible. Our curriculum provides a schedule that is familiar and predictable to the child, but not rigid.
The sequence of our daily activities will be slightly different, but will always follow a predictable pattern. There will be times to do things together as group and times to work independently as well as times to do puzzles or listen to a story and times to move vigorously.
Your child will have the opportunity to initiate activities such as: build a tower with blocks, cut out shapes and paint at an easel. There will also be activities led by the teacher such as learning a new song or listening to a story.
Our childcare curriculum and activities have been created with fun in mind. Our educators channel each child’s enthusiasm and energy towards positive learning experiences, giving them lots of room to move and explore their environment.
The classrooms have been designed to stimulate their young minds as they develop their cognitive, emotional and physical skills and the curriculum is milestone-based, with the goal of ensuring that all developmental targets are reached.
Each child’s natural curiosity is engaged through fun, play-based activities that help teach core principles.
From simple matching and counting games to learning how to use language to express their internal ideas, needs and wants, children will develop vital skills and knowledge and a gain a positive attitude towards learning.
Children learn in a variety of ways...that’s why we encourage movement and song, when appropriate, allowing children to express their individuality in a fun and exciting way.
Not only do they burn off some of their abundant energy, when they share the stage with others they develop empathy and cooperation among their peers.
